Eugene G. Poremba Sr.
December 1, 1932 - October 11, 2025 (Age 92)
Eugene G. Poremba Sr., husband of the late Sarah M. (Ludy) Poremba, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at the home of his daughter.
Born in Alden, Luzerne County, PA he was a son of the late George Poremba and the late Verna (Wasielewski) Kaska.
Eugene was employed for 30 years by the former Neapco Corporation, Pottstown, as a needle bearing loader. He had previously worked at Town Toy and Food King.
He was a U.S. Veteran of the Army serving during the Korean Conflict.
One of Eugenes hobbies was photography and developing his own film. He also enjoyed building model airplanes and going to air shows. A model train enthusiast, he loved running his trains on his layout for his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Andrea M. Skokowski wife of the late Thomas Skokowski and partner John Raymond, Pottstown; two sons, Eugene G. Poremba Jr. and his wife Elaine of North Carolina; Michael E. Poremba and his wife Glenda, Las Vegas, NV.
His loving brother, Steven Kaska and his wife Roz, living in Scottsdale, AZ. Grandchildren, Sarah, Rebecca, Katelyn, Michelle and Christine. Great grandchildren, Cole, Caden, Chloe, Harlow, Bowen, Brynn, Aubree, Ethan, Melia, Avery and Ares. He was predeceased by one brother, Albin Poremba.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown.
