Florence M. Musketnuss

Florence “Flossie” M. Musketnuss, 85, of Lancaster earned her wings on Friday, March 21, 2025 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Lancaster, the daughter of the late Harry A. and Theresa Ream Frankhouser. She lived happily with the family in their home for more than 40 years.

Flossie worked in retail in sales and was an associate with both the Hills Department Store and Ames Department Store enjoying work at the snack bar and the registers. She was always the life of the party, a strong and independent and sometimes stubborn woman. Flossie was always willing to help others who she always made feel like her family.

She was skilled in the kitchen, making delicious whoopee pies, tasty potato salad, and out-of-this-world pot pie. Her favorite weekends were spent visiting DutchWay Store and playing cards. She cherished her village of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Flossie is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Good (Larry) of Lancaster, daughter, Karen Stripling of Florida, son, J. Elvin Miller, Jr. of Lancaster and son, Robert Miller (Lisa) of Virginia.

Family and friends are invited to Flossie’s Funeral Service at The Groffs Family Funeral Home, 528 W. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA, 17603 on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. A Viewing will be held at 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. A private family interment will take place at Riverview Burial Park in Lancaster at a later date.
