Floyd R. Kegg
October 28, 1940 – May 1, 2026 (Age 85)
Floyd "Casey" R. Kegg, 85, of Bedford, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Colonial Courtyard, Bedford.
Casey was born in Bedford on October 28, 1940, son of the late Ralph and Helen (Grimes) Kegg.
On May 2, 1965, he married his wife Laura Mae (Ritchey) Kegg, who preceded him in death on March 14, 2003. Casey then married Rita Ann (Dull) Will-Kegg in June of 2006, who preceded him in death on March 29, 2011.
He is survived by step-daughters: Mary Ann wife of Marty McKenzie, of Glencoe; Darlene Willison, of Bedford; brother and best friend- Carl Kegg, of Bedford; brother-in-law- Fred Dull and wife Patti, of Schellsburg; 3 step-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Casey enjoyed butchering/roasting hogs; bailing hay, hunting and fishing. He was a lifelong farmer and was a welder at Rockland. He was affiliated at Pleasant Hill Bible Church.
At the request of the family, services will be private.
Interment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Colonial Courtyard of Bedford, Gentiva Hospice of Altoona, and UPMC Home Health (Carly Sipes), for all the loving and thoughtful care they gave Casey.
