Frances D Ross, 79, of Greensburg, passed away on Thursday December 1, 2022. She was born on December 2, 1942, in Greensburg, the daughter of the late William and Ernestine (William) Bytheway. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David L. Ross and her only sibling, her sister, Charlene Kula. She was a member of Harrold Zion Lutheran Church in Greensburg. Fran was a graduate of Greensburg High School, Class of 1960. She worked at Latrobe Steel and retired from Reese Bros. Telemarketing Co. as a telemarketing supervisor. She was a line dancer for over 30 years and along with her sister, she danced with a group called Gone Country. She was also a big fan of Elvis Presley, having visiting Graceland 3 times and had quite a collection of Elvis Memorabilia. Fran is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Yagla (Richard), of Greensburg, Kelly Ross, of Los Angeles, CA. and Kristin Ross, of Greensburg; her grandchildren, Ashley Yagla-Smith (Jordan), of Atlanta, GA., Nicholas Ross, of Jeannette and Allison Vecchio, of Greensburg; nephews, John and Jeffrey Kula; niece, Heather McConnell; her great nephew, Christopher and two great nieces, Autumn and Brittany. Fran is also survived by her special friend, Ronald Larrick, of Ambridge and her best friend, Chris Rosensteel, of Greensburg. A visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 5, from 3-7 PM, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th St. Youngwood. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 11 AM, in Harrold Zion Lutheran Church. 671 Baltzer Meyer Pike, Greensburg. Please go directly to church. The Rev Caroline Clifford officiating. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
