Frances W. Morris

Frances Ruth Willis Morris, age 83, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 10, 1942, in Lexington, South Carolina, to Vernon Lewis Willis and Sarah Bell Anderson Willis, both of whom preceded her in death.
Frances was the heart of her home and the definition of a devoted homemaker. She had a deep love for flowers, baking, and sharing her homemade treats with anyone who crossed her path no one ever left her home hungry. She took pride in canning her own food and caring for her family in every possible way. Frances always wanted her loved ones gathered around her table, enjoying good food, laughter, and time together.
She was constantly on the move, always finding something to do, care for, or improve. Above all, Frances loved her family fiercely, and her home was a place of comfort, warmth, and unconditional love. Her nurturing spirit and tireless dedication will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are beloved daughters Janie Austin and Sarah Jimenez (Cliff Kneece), granddaughters Tracy Austin, Renee Jimenez (Miguel Cabreja De La Cruz) and Pamela Jimenez, great-grandchildren Angel, Liam, Zoe and one on the way! Three sisters and two brothers and many nieces and nephews that she adored.
In addition to her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her husband David Morris and two sisters.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 11:00AM – 12:00PM at Life and Legacy Funeral Home Good Shepherd Chapel. A funeral service will begin at 12:00PM with a burial to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
