Frank L. Caw, Sr.
November 8, 1930 - April 11, 2022 (Age 91)
Frank L. Caw Sr., 91 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2022 at Genesis Morrison House of Zanesville.
He was born on November 8, 1930, in Zanesville, son of the late Henery Edward Caw and Rozetta Griffin Caw. Frank was Pentecost by faith and was a member of the Country Western Hall of Fame, having entertained in all the local nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Frank also had an open mic every Friday night at the West Main St. Senior Center. He later retired from Zanesville City Schools.
He is survived by his sons, Chris (Joann) Caw, Randy (Jayne) Caw; brother, Robert (Shirley) Caw; sister, Patricia Pletcher; 8 grandchildren; numerours great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Geneva Eileen Stewart Caw; sons, Frank Caw Jr., Michael Caw; brothers, Charles “Bubs” Caw, Harvey “Pete” Caw, Dillard “DI” Caw, Earl Caw; sisters, Bessie Ault, and Edna West.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday April 14, 2022 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Aaron Bounds officiating. Burial will follow services at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Genesis Hospice at 751 Forest Ave in honor of Frank.
