Fred W. Laffoon Jr.

Fred William Laffoon Jr., 80, passed away on Thursday, November 11th at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC, surrounded by loved ones. He was the husband of Brenda Craig Laffoon to whom he was married for 60 years.
Born October 16th, 1941 in Elkin, NC, he was the oldest son of the late Fred and Dortha Laffoon. He was a retired butcher from Harris Teeter where he was employed for 33 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Rock Hill. He enjoyed being in the mountains, watching Nascar, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and dedication to being a loving husband, father, and “Graddy.”
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Laffoon; daughter, Nathalia Steele (Lewis); grandchildren, Jordan Bendickson and John Steele; great-granddaughter, Jenevieve Bendickson; sister, Nancy Lowery; and sisters-in-law, Terri Laffoon and Judy Wilson (Freddie). He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Laffoon Sr. and Dortha Laffoon; and brother, Larry Laffoon.
The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 16th at 2:00 PM at Grandview Cemetery.
