Frederick C. Fisher

Frederick Charles Fisher Sr., 89 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2022.
He was born on February 11, 1933, in Zanesville Ohio, son of the late Lawrence Fisher and Helen Crawley Fisher. Fred was a veteran of the Marines, having served in the Korean War. He later worked as a businessman, having 3 car dealerships and a gun store. He enjoyed fishing, gambling, and guns; but his passion was buying and selling cars.
He is survived by his daughter, Joanna Fisher; son, Frederick (Mary) Fisher Jr.; brothers, Jim (Rosemary) Fisher, Bob Harrier, Chuck Harrier; sisters, Vivian Smith, Marge Brookes, Trudy Knapp, Starla Hyde, Margaret Larimer; granddaughter, Tabitha and 3 great-grandchildren, Maci, Brantley, and Leila.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, of 53 years, Norma “Trink” Fisher; brothers, Frank, Roney; sisters, Gladys, and Claudia.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday August 11, 2022 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home. Services will be held at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home on Thursday August 11 2022 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Darren Tolbert officiating. Burial will follow services at Zanesville Memorial Park, where full military honors will be presented by The United States Marines in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058.
