Gary T. Bollinger Sr.

Gary "Bean" T. Bollinger Sr., 84, of Arnold, died Monday, July 20, 2026, peacefully, in his home, following a short, but incredibly brave battle with cancer. He was born in Arnold on July 13, 1942, to the late Harold D. and Jean Hulton Bollinger, and was a lifelong resident of Arnold. Mr. Bollinger served in the U.S. Army and was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington. He worked at Oberg Manufacturing for 31 years before his much-awaited retirement. He was an avid golfer and a member of the St. Joseph Golf League. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and loved watching golf and football. More than anything, he will be remembered for being a good and caring person by all who knew him. He is survived by his four children, Gary T. (Janet) Bollinger Jr. of Tarentum, Michael P. Bollinger of Pittsburgh, Mary Beth Bollinger of Gibsonia, and Timothy D. Bollinger of Frazer Township; three grandchildren, Patty, Erin, and Tara Bollinger; brother, Harold L. (Amy) Bollinger of Pittsburgh; niece, Sharon Emricko of New Kensington; many nieces and nephews; and his loving companion, Kozy the Cat. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Mary E. Nee Bollinger; son, Patrick J. Bollinger; and sister, Gail Svorcek. Per Mr. Bollinger's direction, there will be no funeral services.
