Gayle Kiser Miller
September 13, 1941 - February 12, 2025 (Age 83)
Born September 13, 1941, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Gayle was the daughter of the late Earl and Faye Kiser. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Charlie Miller; daughter, Kimberly Miller Thompson; and sister, Libby Stogner.
Gayle lived a life of unwavering faith and was a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church. She served her Church in GA’s, Acteens, and Vacation Bible School. She was a compassionate and generous woman of God and a source of light to all she encountered.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Jeffery Miller and wife, Tammy, of Hamlet, North Carolina; her daughter, Shannon Burns and husband, Brian, of Indian Trail, North Carolina; grandchildren, Tyler Miller of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, Justin Miller of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Brittany Jones and husband, Josh, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Ashton VanDyke of Indian Trail, North Carolina, and Johnathan Jones of Hamlet, North Carolina; her precious sister, Linda Whitfield and her husband, Bill; cousin, Jackie Clark; and seven great grandchildren, Lilly, Jada, Chloe, Bryson, Graham, Landon, and Jonah; and many wonderful friends.
A service to celebrate her life will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, 6335 Wilson Grove Road in Mint Hill. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
