Genevieve H. Farzati

Genevieve H. (Santia) Farzati, 105, of White, PA, formerly of South Greensburg, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 26, 2023, at her daughter’s home. She was born June 24, 1917, in Youngwood, a daughter of the late Antonio and Felorinda (Verdoni) Santia. Jenny had worked for many years at the family business, Corner Bar and Grill. She was a lifetime member of St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Farzati; four brothers, Chester and Floyd Santia, and Earl and Reynold Ruffo; and five sisters, Theresa Cirelli, Nellie Mastrangelo, Virginia Scarsellone, Viola Placey, and Elizabeth Corsi. She is survived by her daughter, Regina M. Stader, of White, PA; two grandsons, Joe Stader (Kelly) and Anthony Stader (Holly); five great-grandsons, Angelo, Vincenzo, Charles, Ronin, and Lukah; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 11 AM to noon Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg where a funeral liturgy will immediately follow at noon. Private entombment will take place in Westmoreland County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
