Genevieve P. Magda

Genevieve P. (Emanuele) Magda, 94, of Greensburg, died Monday, October 17, 2022, in Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg. She was born May 22, 1928, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Michael and Antoinette (Mucciacito) Emanuele. She was a member of Lighthouse of Hope Church, Greensburg and a former member of Deliverance Tabernacle Church, New Stanton. Genevieve was a former member of the Delta Bowling League. She also loved to crochet. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Magda; her son, Edward Michael Magda; two daughters, Michelle Ann Magda and Darlene Dominiczak; four brothers, Matthew M. Jr., Anthony J. “Tony”, Samuel F., and Domenic Emanuele; and three sisters, her twin, Lucy Cardella, Carmella Vario, and Gladys Carrolli. She is survived by two grandsons, Lawrence Dominiczak and Edward J. Long; three great-grandchildren, Jazmine, Dakota, and Jenna; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 10 to 11:30 AM Saturday at Lighthouse of Hope Church, 538 Rugh St., Greensburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11:30 AM with the Rev. Thomas E. Tomson, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg is assisting with arrangements.
