Glenn P. Johnson, III, 58, of Greensburg, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 13,1965, in Connellsville, a son of Glenn P. and Carole (George) Johnson, Jr. He was a member of St. Paul Church, Greensburg, and served in the US Air Force. He was an avid sports fan and loved his family. Glenn enjoyed going to Disney World. Glenn was preceded in death by his sister, Beth Ann Johnson, victim of terrorist bombing over Lockerbie, Scotland on 12-21-1988; maternal grandparents, “Gene” L.A. and Nora (Riley) George; and paternal grandparents, Glenn P., and Genevieve (Schildkamp) Johnson. He is survived by his parents, Glenn P. Jr., and Carole (George) Johnson; his wife, Wendy K. (Patellos) Johnson; his daughter, Caitlin Ann Johnson; his son, Colin Porter Johnson; his step-children, Brandon Patrick Patellos and Brooke Paige Patellos; a granddaughter, Jaina Lynn Stumpf; a brother, Gene A. Johnson (Edwin B. Cather); a brother- in- law, Ron P. Anderson; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Paul Church, Greensburg. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. Full military honors will be accorded by VFW Post No. 33, Greensburg Honor Guard. Glenn's family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Dulabh Monga, MD, Dr. Manjusha Rajamohanty, MD, Hempfield Manor staff and Caring Hospice for their excellent care and professionalism. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
