Gloria Ann Dalrymple

Gloria Ann Dalrymple, 93 passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021. She was born December 15, 1927 in Crooksville to the late Earl J. and Opal Shipley Watson. She was a graduate of Crooksville High School, a homemaker and a child care provider for over 26 children. She enjoyed gardening, tending her flower beds, cooking, sewing and spending time with her family. She spent her life dedicated to children and was the nucleus of the family, always keeping the family in touch.
Surviving are her children: Karen (Terry) Curtin, Darla (Alan) Gore and Don (Beth) Dalrymple; one grandson Joe (Jessie) Dalrymple; two ornery great grandsons: Lou and Finn; a brother Paul E. Watson; sisters in law: Marilyn Smith and Joan Cameron; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald L. Dalrymple; sister Mary June Crooks; and three brothers: James Watson, Lawrence Watson and Jack Watson.
Calling hours will be from 10 to 11:30AM Thursday, December 9 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. The funeral will begin at 11:30 in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
