Gordon L. Kinzey

Gordon L. Kinzey, 86, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at UPMC Bedford.
Gordon was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on August 13, 1936, son of the late Clarence and Margaret (Welsh) Kinzey.
He married his wife Patricia Beckett on March 9, 1959.
Gordon is survived by his wife Patricia, daughter- Tammy widow of Barry Davis of TN; daughter- Pamela Kinzey, of Bedford; son- Brian Kinzey, of Everett; son- Gordon Kinzey Jr., of Bedford; son- Edward Turberville, of Johnstown. He is also survived by sisters Thelma, Linda, Annette, and Margaret (Peggy), along with two grandchildren Danyelle and Lindsey; and seven great-grandchildren: Hunter, Kawasi, Zach, Bailey, Logan, Ethan, and Marilyn. In addition to his parents Gordon was preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Ruth, Aveagene, Meryl, Robert, Gary (Sonny), Jennette, Booty, and Betty.
Gordon was a member of Manns Choice Church of God.
Gordon served his country in the United States Army.
He was a welder at Pullman Standard in Butler for 18.5 years. Gordon loved hunting, fishing and camping. He enjoyed watching dirt races and spending time with his grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Monday, October 3, 2022 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 11 AM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Whetstone officiating. Interment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford, PA.
