Grace E. Barton

Grace E. Barton, 94, of Water Street, Everett, PA; passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 at home. She was born on November 16, 1928 in Hedgesville, WV; a daughter of the late Harry and Essel (Luttrell) Eversole. She was married to Donald E. Barton; he preceded her in death on October 26, 1979.
She is survived by children Debrah Barton, Richard Barton, Paul Barton, Patricia Soissong, Karen Vaccarino and Lynn Barton; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister Alvernon Sharff; sister-in-law Susan Eversole and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by brother Charles Eversole and George Eversole.
Grace worked as a bookkeeper for various places including Staley’s Daycare and Staley’s Autoparts, Mary Flukes Consignment Shop and most recently The Everett Shoe Shop until it closed. She enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles, knitting and sewing.
