Harriett Cornelia Pittman Bruton of Rock Hill, SC passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Magnolia Manor. Harriett was born on December 11, 1942, to John Edward Pittman and Lena Elizabeth Garner Pittman. Harriett was a homemaker and loved sewing, cooking, and various hobbies. Harriett was known as “Bit” by many of her family and friends.
Ms. Bruton is preceded in death by her parents, John Edward Pittman and Lena Elizabeth Garner Pittman; former husband, Wallace Daniel Bruton; son, Wallace Daniel Bruton Junior; brothers, Robert Pittman (Alice), Charles Pittman, and Ronnie Pittman (Brenda); sisters Virginia Duncan and Linda Smith (Russell).
Harriett Bruton is survived by her son, Travis Leon Bruton; daughter, Tamara DeAnn Bolding Bruton; two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Harriett Bruton is also survived by her brother, Johnny Pittman; sisters-in-laws, Terry Pittman, Betty Bruton, and Helen Bruton. Harriett Bruton is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, relatives, and other friends.
Inurnment will be at Grandview Park Memorial in Rock Hill, South Carolina on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.
