Harris Dale Melton
February 20, 1966 - March 16, 2023 (Age 57)
Harris Dale Melton, age 57, of St. Petersburg passed peacefully on March 16, 2023 following a brief battle with cancer.
“Dale” is survived by his father, John “Bob” (Susan) Melton; Mother, Nancy (The Late Robert) Gerath; Brother, Rob (Alison) Melton; Daughters, Patience Melton, Paula (Cooper) Farr and Payton Melton; Nephew, John (Katie) Melton; Niece, Dayanne (Michael) Fort and Two Great Nephews. He was also survived by one Grandson, Sage Melton, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and his dog, Skeeter.
Dale was a chef at the President's Club and Isla del Sol. He also worked in construction in the Chicago area and most recently as a Service Technician. He was a devote Christian who loved the Lord and touching people’s lives through his faith and proudly donated to various missions.
Family and friends will gather for a Memorial Service on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 10:00am at the Bay Point Christian Church, 2001 62nd Avenue S, St Petersburg, FL 33712. A second service has been scheduled for family and friends on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 1pm at the Corner Stone Baptist Church, 355 Hands Mill Hwy, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Pastor Ron Roddey will officiate and inurnment will follow services at Grandview Memorial Cemetery. The Melton Family is being served by Anderson McQueen Funeral Home.
