Harry Ross Smail

Harry Ross Smail, 83, of Export, died, Friday, March 1, 2024, at his home. He was born February 1, 1941, in Greensburg, a son of the late Harrison Smail and Blanche Harbaugh Smail. Harry was a member of Greensburg Church of the Brethren. He was a veteran and served in the Army. He was the owner of Harry’s Service Center, Export. In addition to working on cars at his garage, Harry enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Bertha Mae Smail, Audrey Schmidt and Nancy Berry; brothers, Edward, Donald, James and Kenneth Smail. Harry is survived by his daughters, Dr. Billie Jo Godwin (Walter) and Suzi Smail; sister, Kathy Shedlock (Joseph); brothers Ronald Smail, Louis Smail (Diane), Robert Smail (Kathy) and Clyde Smail; grandson, Tyler Henderson; longtime partner, Ann Siciliano; also, a number of nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 7 pm Tuesday at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. A funeral service for Harry will be held at 11 am Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Stephen Parfitt officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
