Harvey J. Ebright

Harvey James "Jim" Ebright, age 88, of North Versailles, PA went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Beloved husband of Norma Jean Ebright to whom he was married for 64 years. Jim is also survived by his daughters, Diane (George) Abshier, Karen (Eric) Elma; his grandchildren, Eric (Katherine) Abshier, Stephanie (Derek) Morris, Nathan Abshier, Justin (Sarah) Abshier, Eden (Nathan) Reese, Cameron Elma, and Noah Abshier; two, and soon to be three, great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Marie Ebright, and his siblings Paul Ebright and Elizabeth Kennedy. Jim was a packer loader for the Elliott Company in Jeannette for 32 years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an active member of First Christian Church of Duquesne and then Norwin Christian Church. He will be dearly missed by all those who love him. Friends will be received Thursday from 1-3 & 5-7 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 118 Shaw Avenue, Turtle Creek (412-823-1950), where a funeral will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Friends may gather an hour prior to the time of the service.
