Helen Joanne Billings

Helen Joanne Billings, born January 24, 1934 departed her loving family for her heavenly home on August 12, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Alice Walker and great-grandson, Landon Brown.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Bob Billings Sr. and her three “perfect” children, Elaine (Randy) Grover, Bob (Brenda) Billings Jr. and Brian (Teresa) Billings. She was “Granny” to her eight “angel” grandchildren, Jenny (Matt) Burris, Adam (Rachel) Grover, Justin Billings, Becky (Jason) Morrison, Ryan (Amanda) Grover, Jamie (Bryan) Richardson, Brian (Michal) Billings Jr., and Megan (Ryan) Brown. She kept an angel by each of the grandchildren’s pictures with the pewter angel being placed by the one currently in the most need of prayer. She was “Great Granny” to her precious great-grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Haylee, Lauren, Levi, Bryan Louis, Jase, Blayne, Alexis, Emma, Zoe, Avery, and Joshua. She is also survived by in-laws Helen Walker, Ronnie (Marie) Billings, Juanita Mitchell, Shelby Sage, Freeda Baldwin, Janice Johnson, Nadine Barnett, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joanne often spoke of reuniting with her beloved parents and her siblings, Lewis Jr., William, Raymond, Betty, Theda, Teddy, Sandra, and now she has.
