Henrietta Hayden

May 17, 1937 – May 13, 2026 (Age 88)

Henrietta S. Hayden, age 88, of White Oak, died on May 13, 2026, at the St. Anne Home. Born May 17, 1937, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late William and Henrietta (Schultz) Schadle and the wife of the late Thomas Hayden.

Henrietta dedicated many years of her professional life to the billing department of the P&LE Railroad and was a member of Beulah Park United Methodist Church.

A lover of antiques, Henrietta delighted in the thrill of discovery, often setting out on adventures to uncover many treasures "in her travels" to antique stores, thrift stores, and garage sales. In addition to her love for seeking out unique finds, she enjoyed attending shows and plays, creating lasting memories with her loved ones.

Henrietta's competitive spirit shone brightly in her love for card games. She approached each challenge with a playful enthusiasm, eager to win and share in the laughter these games brought. Yet, her greatest joy came sharing a meal and having conversations in the kitchen with her family.

She is survived by children, David (Cindy) Hayden and Daniel (Dana) Hayden; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Diane Cerar and Sharon McIntosh; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, William Schadle, Jr.

Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, May 18, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
