Henry R. Brown
June 4, 1941 - February 14, 2025 (Age 83)
Henry R. “Butch” Brown, 83, of Lititz passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Neffsville Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Henry A. and Margaret Snyder Brown. Butch shared 41 years of marriage with Betty Hamilton Brown until her passing in 2011.
Butch spent his entire working life in the livestock business. He worked with his grandfather and father in the operation of the Reliable Trucking Co. delivering cattle. Subsequently, Butch worked for the Lancaster Stockyards Walter M. Dunlap & Sons in the buying and selling of cattle. He retired in May 2024 in cattle sales for Vintage Sales Stables.
He is survived by his faithful companion, Rhoda A. Groff, and cousins, Barbara Snyder, Sue Snyder, and Margaret Snyder Gerhart.
Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
