Mint Hill, North Carolina - Homer Daniel "Danny" Sasser, Jr., of Mint Hill, NC, passed away peacefully at home on May 3, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was 81 years old.
Danny was a member of Arlington Baptist Church and the Dean White Sunday School Class.
Danny is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ruth Linker Sasser; three children, Susan Clontz (Randy), Kenny Sasser, and Karen Flowe (Sammy); grandchildren, Stephen Moore (Cristy), Heather Presson (Jon), Cullen Sasser, and Daniel Barrett; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Minnie Belle Sasser, and his sister, Betty Jo Query.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:45 pm Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Arlington Baptist Church Family Life Center, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
