February 7, 1946 - November 8, 2022 (Age 76)

Hubert F. “Hubie” Pfeifer, 76, of New Stanton, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born February 7, 1946 in Mt. Pleasant, PA. Son of the late Amos James and Ida Rose (Hubert) Pfeifer. He was a graduate from Hurst High School Class of 1964. He then went on to serve in the U.S. Army as a Light Weapons Infantryman during the Vietnam War. Hubie attended the Downtown United Methodist Church in Madison, PA. He started working for Elliott Company in Jeannette, PA and then went on to work and retire from ARCO Enterprises, Inc. after many years of service as a truck driver. In his younger years, Hubie enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting with his friends at the river in Millsboro. He was an avid Farmall tractor collector, enjoyed gardening and dining at many restaurants. He is preceded in death by both parents and survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Kim (Bosch) Pfeifer; three daughters, Melissa A. Santangelo (Joe) of Greensburg, PA, Sharon M. Hayden (Mike) of Greensburg, PA and Heather M. Hohn (Jordan) of Fort Mill, SC; seven grandchildren, Cole, Ethan, Lauren, Carson, Cooper, Cameron and Brooklyn; two sisters, Connie Lucas (Jerry) of Greensburg, PA and Mary Beth Appleby (Tom) of Greensburg, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 -4 pm and 6 – 8 pm on Friday, November 11, 2022 at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Green officiating. Interment will follow at the Westmoreland Memorial Park Cemetery in Greensburg, PA with full military honors by the Armbrust veterans accorded.
