Inez Terry

June 25, 1944 - November 1, 2024 (Age 80)

Inez E. Carpenter Terry, 80 of Daisytown, PA passed away on November 1, 2024 in the Jefferson Hospital.

Inez was born on June 25, 1944 a daughter of the late Hubert A. and Mae Lucille Belknap Carpenter. She was a 1962 graduate of the California Area High School, and went on to attend the California University of Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Carpenter was employed by the Bell Telephone Company for several years in the Business Office. She also worked in the cafeteria in the California Area School District for many years.

She cherished spending time with her family, and was proud to host all Holiday dinners, and family events. An excellent homemaker, and cook she loved being able to take care of her family, and grandchildren. She also liked to go camping in the R.V., and was a Barry Manilow fan.

Inez was a long-time member of the Daisytown Presbyterian Church, and taught Sunday School. She was in the P.T.A, a band mom, and assisted in field trips, and enjoyed visits from her grand dog Truffles.

Surviving are four children; Lisa Jo Schlosser (Scott) of Huntly, VA; Roger Lee Terry (Rhonda) of Roscoe, PA; Donald Paul Terry (Shelly) of Daisytown, PA; and Pamela Sue Terry of Jeanette, PA; Grand children Daniel Schlosser, Victoria Macosta, Amber Terry, and Alyssa Terry; Step Grand children Emilee (Jake) Andrews, and Ben Wilson; Great grandchildren Harutiun David Schlosser, and step great grandchildren Kendall Andrews, and Ava Andrews; several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her husband Paul W. Terry who passed away September 5, 2014; siblings Shirley Ann Carpenter, and Hubert “Sonny” Carpenter Jr.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd. 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA, 15313 where Funeral Services will be held Thursday November 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with pastor Richard A. Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
