Jack R. Cantella, 82, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, July 18, 2023, in Independence Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born April 6, 1941, a son of the late Samuel J. and Mary R. (D’Octavia) Cantella. Prior to retirement he had been employed as an inspector by PennDot. Jack was a car enthusiast and enjoyed attending car shows. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, John “Chris” Cantella. He is survived by his wife, Barbara E. (Morris) Cantella; three daughters, Debbie Frye (Bob), Amy Cantella and Heidi Noel (Bob); five grandchildren, Sara Estep (Will), Melissa Frye, Jon Frye (Chrissy), Jacob Noel, and Alexis Noel; seven great grandchildren, Dayden, Gavin, Scarlett, Violet, Patrick, Parker, and Daisy; his sister, Charlotte Cantella; a niece and a nephew. Friends will be received from 5 to 7 PM Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Private entombment will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
