Jack D. Osborne passed away peacefully on October 16, 2023, in Canal Winchester at the age of 87. Jack was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 10, 1936, to the late Walter and Helen Osborne. He was a graduate of Groveport High School Class of 1954 and was a long-time member of Groveport United Methodist Church. Jack proudly serviced his country in the United States Air National Guard.
Jack is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joan; brother, Harrold; sisters Norma Jean, Joann, Iona, and June.
He is survived by his children, Dianna (Larry) Lokey of Jacksonville, FL., Michael (Sandy) Osborne of Ocala, FL., Jason (Andie) Osborne of Carroll, Ohio; grandchildren, Michelle Collins, Tamara (Aaron) Barnes, Stephen (Kathy) Lokey, Bob Osborne, Tracy Osborne, Jaycie (Zach) Petty, Justin (Miranda) Osborne, Jacob (Kiersten) Osborne, Piper and River Osborne; along with multiple nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday October 20th at DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday October 21st at Groveport United Methodist Church, 512 Main St., Groveport, with Pastor Richard Birk officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
