Jack Fine

Jack B. Fine, 76, of New Eagle, passed away on Wednesday September 25, 2024 in his home. Born January 11, 1948, in New Eagle, he is the son of the late John L. and Marie (Petrunia) Fine. Jack was a 1965 graduate of Monongahela High School and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Monongahela. He worked at the U.S. Steel Mill in Clairton as an electrician until his retirement in 2003. Jack was currently serving as president and had been a member the New Eagle Boro Council for the past 30 years. He was on the New Eagle Sewage Authority Board and was past constable for Boro of New Eagle. Jack is survived by two sons John B. (Lynda) Fine of McDonough, GA and Charles M. "Chas" (Tara) Fine of New Eagle; four grandchildren Brandi (Tony) Elmore and Cody, Megan and Aiden Fine. He was preceded in death by his wife Lavona (Bianchi) Fine who died November 20, 2003. Friends will be received at the Marshall Marra Funeral Home, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767 from 5-8pm on Friday September 27, 2024 with a service beginning at 10am on Saturday with Pastor Jude Urso officiating. Interment will follow in Mon-Valley Memorial Park, Carroll Twp.
