Rock Hill, South Carolina - Reverend Jacob Leroy "Roy" Chisolm, III of 1192 Holland Road, transitioned to his new home on Monday, September 5, 2022. The Funeral Service will be 1pm Monday at Pineville A.M.E. Zion Church. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park. A graduate of Emmett Scott High School, he worked for many years at the Bowater Plant, and later as a truck driver, and finally as a bus driver for the Rock Hill School District. During many of those years he also served as a pastor at New Independent AME Zion, Rock Hill Baptist Church, and lastly at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where he retired in June of this year. Viewing will be 5-6pm Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.The family will receive visitors at the home.
