Jacqueline Pearl Poe

Jacqueline Pearl (Boggs) Poe, age 94 of Pickerington, Ohio went home peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her loving family on June 16, 2024. She was born in Freemont, Nebraska, on July 18, 1929, to William Leslie and Violet Ruth Boggs. Jacquie was a 1947 graduate of Worthington High School. She was employed by the State of Ohio for most of her career. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a Sunday school teacher and a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an avid nature enthusiast who enjoyed camping, bird watching and gardening. She loved dancing, crocheting and sewing until she lost her eyesight. A strong soul took her through many hardships including cancer and heart disease. She is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 57 years, Jacques Iden Poe, Sr.; her parents; her 4 siblings, Robert Boggs (Helen), David Boggs (Rose), William Boggs (Lou) Charles Boggs (Marcia); as well as her grandson, Jonathan Ryan and special friend, Victoria Ryan. Jacquie is survived by her children, David Poe (Theresa), Jacque Poe, Jr., Catherine Ryan (Patrick), Susan Ryan (Michael), Barbie Lumbard (Todd); grandchildren, Patience Poe, Stephen Poe (Katie), Angela Marlo (Teddy), James Ryan, Sean Ryan (Candace), Sarah Thogmartin (Philip), Justin Lumbard (Kaylin) and Jessica Meyer (Steven); great-grandchildren Alex, Riley, Bryer, Kiley, Austin, Kendel, Zachary, Theo, Lexa, Aiden, Jaxson, Silas, Noah, and William. The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude and love to Helen St. Cyr for her life-long love and support of Jacquie as not only her sister-in-law but as a true sister, indeed.

Friends and family may visit Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home 650 W. Waterloo St, Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110 on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 11am-1pm. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
