James B. Shirey
February 17, 1938 - February 26, 2022 (Age 84)
Jim was born in Appomattox County, VA on 2/17/38 to William H. Shirey Sr. & Elizabeth Meharg Shirey. He is survived by his children Doug (Jo Ann) & Stuart (Laura), two grandchildren Chris (Stephanie) & Andrew (Caitlin) as well as 6 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years Mary Groome Shirey & his brother William H. Shirey Jr.
Jim spent his entire career in the automotive equipment sales industry.
The family will receive friends at 1PM with services to be held at 2PM on Thursday March 3rd @ JB Tallent Funeral Home, 1937 N Sharon Amity Rd, Charlotte, NC. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
