James F. "Jamie" Brown, Jr., 50, of Jeannette died Tuesday, August 10, 2021 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born, March 13, 1971 in Jeannette, a son of James F. Brown, Sr. of Jeannette and the late Billie Jean Mongold Brown. He was a US Army veteran having served during Desert Storm. He was a member of American Legion Post #344 of Jeanentte, VFW Post #8240 of Jeannette and the Jeannette Combined Veterans. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son, Jonathon Brown, and two sisters, Christine Gnesda and Ginny Lynn Brown. In addition to his father, he is survived by a grandson, Gustav Haman, siblings; Robin Clark and her husband Dan of New Bethlehem, Mary Navrkal and her husband John of IL, Victoria Brown and Johnelle Brown, both of Jeannette, fiance, Corina Jordan of Jeannette, step-daughter, Morgan Rodriguez of Jeannette and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received Monday 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette. A blessing service will be held 10:00 am Tuesday in the funeral home. Interment with military rites accorded by the Jeannette Combined Veterans will follow in Jeannette Memorial Park.
