James Millard Palsgrove

James M, Palsgrove, age 94, went home to Heaven on February 16, 2024. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Jeannette; his parents, Millard and Edna Palsgrove; and his brothers, Robert and Ted Palsgrove. James is survived by his daughter, Sandra (Greg) Seelenbinder; his sons, James Jr. (Connie) and Richard Palsgrove; his granddaughters, Kristen (Andy) Conkey and Kathleen (Jared) Van Hoose; and his great granddaughters, Charlotte and Addison Conkey. He is also survived by his sisters, Carol Shannon and Susie Jones. James grew up on a farm in Madison Township and graduated from Groveport High School in 1947. He was employed at Palsgrove Manufacturing and later at Columbia Gas of Ohio. James was an avid golfer and after retirement could be found on the golf course 5 days a week. He played until April 2023. He was a long-time member of Asbury United Methodist Church South and also was a long-time resident of Groveport, Ohio. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Friends may call at Asbury United Methodist Church South on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 10 am until time of the service at 11 am. Interment will follow the service at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens in Canal Winchester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church South, 4760 Winchester Pike, Columbus, OH. 43232. Arrangements are being handled by MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME in Groveport.
