James Richardson Williams, Sr.

Mr. James Richardson Williams, Sr, 89, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 in Pineville, NC.
Born in Indian Land, SC, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Edna Montgomery Williams and his parents, Noah Richardson Williams and Bertha Ola Helms. He was a US Army Veteran serving in the Korean War, a member of the American Legion and the VFW in Rock Hill.
Surviving are his sons, James R. Williams, Jr. (Linda) of Locust, NC and Randy C Williams (Linda) of Rock Hill.
A graveside service with Military Rites will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Grandview Memorial Park, with Rev. Jonathan Montgomery officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
