Cumberland, MD –Janet Louise Lepley, 58, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Born January 9, 1965, in Buffalo, NY, Janet was the daughter of the late Joe Lechliter, and Mary (McKenzie) Lechliter.
Janet was employed at Kline’s Restaurant. She loved gardening, and even received a medal and deemed winner of the Garden Club. She also loved working around the house, and traveling, especially the beach. Janet was a former member of the ABATE of Western Maryland. Her life revolved around her family, especially her grandkids.
Janet is survived by her husband, Jerry Lepley; her daughters: Autumn Green, and Cassy Green; her grandchildren: Logan Green, Trevor Broadwater, and Tyler Broadwater; her siblings: Joe Lechliter, Sherry Brode, and husband, Jeff, and Brenda Heinrich and Jon Cannon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., and from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 1.00 P.M., with Pastor Larry Stevens officiating and visitation one hour prior.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
