Janet M. (Holland) Wyant, 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Born February 17, 1936, in Logan's Ferry Heights, PA, she was a daughter of the late George O. Holland and Janet Carrick Holland Kibart. Janet lived in the area her entire life and was a 1954 graduate of Arnold High School. She was a longtime member of Arnold United Methodist Church. Janet worked at Alcoa's WearEver Building until her marriage. She enjoyed reading and attending musical theater productions with her sister. Above all, Janet treasured the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and family. She is survived by her son, Thomas J. (Karen) Wyant Sr., and her daughter, Sharon L. (Bryn) Arneson Sr., both of New Kensington. She was the loving grandmother of Thomas J. (Stephanie) Wyant Jr. of Georgia, Daniel R. (Ryleigh) Wyant, Bryn F. Arneson Jr., and James R. (Hayley) Arneson; step-grandmother of Matthew (Leah) Newcomer and Andrew (Kayla) Newcomer; and step-great-grandmother of Andrew, Alexander, Aubrey, Taylor, Claira, and Vivianne. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, James A. Wyant; her stepfather, William Kibart; her sister, Elaine Johns; her infant sister, Mary Louise Holland; and her aunt, Georgeann Carrick.
