Janet Parker

Janet (Pundai) Parker, 70, of Greensburg, died Sunday, October 17, 2021, in her home surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness. She was born July 11, 1951, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Pundai. Prior to retirement she had been a nurse’s aide at Villa Angela at St. Anne’s Home, Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Anthony, Ronald, and William Pundai. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Calvin Z. Parker; two sons, Brent Parker (Gina Octave-Parker), of Melbourne, Florida., and Ryan Parker, of Greensburg; her daughter, Kristin McCoy (Ken), of Penn; five grandchildren, William, Noah, Scarlett, Max, and Iris; her sister, Roberta Bruce (Geron), of Juneau, Alaska; numerous nieces and nephews; many special friends; and her feline friends, Kylie and Shelby. Janet is well known by her friends and family for being a kind and loving person who loved to cook and spend time with her family and grandkids. Favorite travel destinations included Florida and South Carolina. Family and friends are invited to her Celebration of Life from 2:00 - 5:00 PM Wednesday, October 20, 2021, beginning with a lunch buffet, at Giannilli’s II Restaurant and Lounge, 4816 State Route 30, Greensburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with Janet’s grandchildren’s education or a hospice contribution in memory of Janet Parker to Suncrest Pittsburgh, 300 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 120, Pittsburgh PA 15235.
