Janet Peretic Of North Braddock, formerly of Braddock and Swissvale, age 81, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023.
Born the daughter of the late Louis Pacella and the late Rose (Pugliano) Pacella.
Beloved wife of the late Edward “Sonny” Peretic.
Loving mother of James (Zueseline) Peretic of Nashville, TN and Teresa (Timothy) Cronin of Plum.
Cherished grandmother of Ashleigh and Hannah Peretic.
Dear sister of Elaine Pacella of North Braddock and Louella (Andy) Bregman of FL.
Also survived by nephews.
Janet was a devout Catholic and lifelong member of Madonna del Castello Church in Swissvale. She was an avid bowler, and enjoyed her Monday evenings spent at the Arcade Lanes in Swissvale with her bowling league. Janet was a selfless soul who was willing to care for anyone in need. Many will forever remember the special care she devoted to her parents and her sister, Elaine. Janet also notable poured her heart into babysitting, and formed countless special bonds with the children she cared for and helped raise.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in Madonna del Castello Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
Janet will be laid to rest in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
