Janet Spotts
October 21, 1930 - July 18, 2024 (Age 93)
Janet M. Spotts, age 93 of Lancaster passed away on July 18, 2024 at her home. Janet was born in Lancaster on October 21, 1930.
She was the daughter of the late Arthur Ezard Sr. and Lauretta VanBrookhoven Ezard. She was married to Chester A. Spotts Jr. for over 60 years on October 21, 1951. He predeceased her on November 20, 2016.
Janet attended JP McCaskey High School and was employed by Hubley Toy Co, RCA, Hamilton Watch and Kunzler's Meat Co. as a demonstrator. She enjoyed travelling, reading, crossword puzzles, bingo and going to the casino's. Janet was a lifetime member of First Reformed Church, Lancaster.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Karen, and she loved her late grand-cat Jazz. Janet also has siblings, the late Glenn and Larry, and surviving are Arthur (Buddy) Jr., and Joan Hurdle. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to a visitation on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 12 noon until the service at 1 pm at DeBord Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, 141 E. Orange St. Lancaster PA 17602.
Burial will follow the service at Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster.

Janet's family would like to thank her care givers Carla Gardner and her family and all other care givers who allowed Janet to spend her final years in her own home.
