Janet Thornberry
January 27, 1952 - April 28, 2021 (Age 69)
The family of Janet Elaine Thornberry wanted to announce her passing on or around April 24, 2021. Her passing was from natural causes. She was born on January 27, 1952, in Miami, Florida where she attended school and was a graduate of North Miami High School, class of 1969. After High School, she attended Dental Assistant school and was employed in that field before taking a job with AT&T. She worked there for several years before moving to medical administrative work. Later, she worked in telemarketing before retirement.
Her dad, Richard D. Thornberry and her mom Vera E. Thornberry preceded her in passing. She is survived by her brother Richard Thornberry and his wife Nira I.Thornberry, Nephew Lance J. Compton, Niece Heather Harkins and Janet E. Cruze, Nephew Richard J. Thornberry.
A Celebration of Life will be announced for her later this summer. Contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.

1 year agoI knew Janet when she lived in North Miami back in the 80's, we were very close, we did alot of things together, I knew her when she left for Denver. I always hoped that I would see her again, we did speak a couple of times after she moved. She crosses my mind often and tonight something told me to look her up and saw her picture immediately knowing it was her. I feel so sad to find out she has passed. I did miss her. Please accept my condolences to everyone. I knew her mother when they lived in North Miami, very close to me, walking distance. I am so sad to hear this horrible news.
