Jean H. Saxe
September 19, 1932 - May 8, 2025 (Age 92)
In Loving Memory of Jean Hulda (Sikkila) Saxe, it is with deep love and gratitude that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, Jean, who went to be with the Lord at the age of 92 on May 8, 2025. Jean devoted her life to her family and her faith. A proud and loving housewife, she raised four children who were the center of her world and the source of her deepest joy. Her nurturing spirit continued through generations, as she embraced her many other grandchildren and great grandchildren with open arms, warm smile, and infectious laugh.
Jean had a gift for connecting with others-she never met a stranger. Known for her quick laugh, captivating stories, and generous heart, she could light up any room simply by being in it. She had a unique way of transforming an ordinary event into an exceptional memory.
Her life was grounded in her unwavering faith, which guided her through all seasons with grace and humility. She believed in the power of prayer, the strength of kindness, and the promise of God’s eternal love. Her faith was not just spoken, but lived, and she shared it through her example, her words, and her actions.
She will be remembered not only for the memories she created, but for the way she made people feel loved, uplifted, and never alone.
Jean is preceded in death by her husband Ronald B. Saxe and her son Raymond W. Saxe and is survived by her children Deborah J. Blankley and husband Gary of Bedford, Diane E. Grove and husband Bud of Harrisburg, and Ronald B.
