Jeanne Eddinger

Jeanne Eddinger, 74, of Berwick, died Thursday, February 15, 2024 at her home.
Born September 24, 1949 in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Ollien (Elkins) Killian.
A graduate of Daniel Boone High School, Class of 1967, she went on to earn her degree as an R.N.
She was employed as a nurse at Pottstown Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Reading, as well as several other nursing homes, and retired from Health South Rehabilitation in Flying Hills. Her love and passion for being a nurse was evident as she spent her life dedicated to helping and caring for others.
Mrs. Eddinger enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and collecting bear figurines, Garfield memorabilia, and Precious Moments collectibles.
She was preceded in death by her husband of three years, Craig Allen Eddinger, who died October 22, 2023.
Jeanne is survived by her son, Robert Blatt and his wife, Corinna, of Reading; her daughter, Gwendelyn O’Brien and her husband, Arthur, of Marysville, TN; five grandchildren: Alauna, Cambree, Egan, Quinlin, and Brianna, deceased; her sister, Catherine Fronheiser and her husband, Gary, of Reading, their son, Neil and his wife, Mary, and their two children, Lucy and Lily.
A private family service will be held at a later date at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Pottstown.
