Jeannette C. Redish

Jeannette C. Redish, 75, of Jeannette, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022, in the Rehabilitation & Nursing Center of Greater Pittsburgh, in Greensburg. She was born December 24, 1946, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Charles and Frances DeAugustine Sarnelli. Jeannette was a member of the Ascension Church Jeannette, and an avid bowler in her youth and later turned to an avid QVC shopper.

In addition to her parents Jeannette was predeceased by her husband Eugene “Geno” Redish in 2014; sisters, Lucy Chiumento, Mary Grace Constantine, Frances Cable, Shirley Williams, and Georgetta Carnera; and brothers, Charles “Winky” and John “Poncho” Sarnelli.

She is survived by her children, Jena Redish of Jeannette, and John Redish of Greensburg; a brother Joseph Sarnelli and wife Rose of Jones Mills PA.; a sister-in-law Shirley Sarnelli of Jeannette; a special niece Marie Neal; enjoyed being Fairy God Mother and Great Great Aunt to her many nieces and nephews; and many life long friends.

Jeannette’s family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and staff at RNC of Greater Pittsburgh, and to her home care givers for all of the kind and compassionate care she received.

Friends will be received 4 to 7pm Friday in the John V. Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 228 North 2nd St. Jeannette. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00am Saturday in the Ascension Church. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park, Hempfield Twp.
