Jeffrey D. Yanos, 68, husband of Greta A. (Reitnauer) Yanos, whom he was married to for 19 years, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Bernard N. Yanos and Theda M. (Hettrick) Yanos.
Jeffrey was a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School, and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He retired from I.M.T Machining Co., Boyertown as a Quality Manager.
He is survived by his wife Greta, two sons, Shawn Yanos, Douglassville; Scott Yanos and his wife Nikki, Wernersville. Three brothers, Bernard N. Yanos ll and his wife Ruth, Dover, DE; Gregory D. Yanos and his companion, Mary Ellen, Glenmorre and Jay D. Yanos and his wife Donna, CA. One grandson, Maxwell. His furry friends, Kozmo, Binx and CoCo.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King Street, Pottstown, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial with military honors will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown.
