Jere P. Ansel

Jere P. Ansel, 81, of Lancaster, PA passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born in Lancaster, PA to the late Israel Ansel and Minnie Latt. He and his wife Diane Ansel celebrated 57 years of marriage.
Jere graduated from Milton Hershey School in the class of 1960, he then worked at Lancaster Press as a printer for 43 years until retirement.
To know Jere was to love him, he was a character and had a heart of gold. He cherished spending time with his family and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
In addition to his wife, Diane, Jere is survived by his son Jere M. (Jessica McGrane) Ansel, his daughter Danna Michelle (Thomas) Stephens, three grandchildren Tyler, Dylan, and Tanner, and his faithful dog Brody.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jere’s Celebration of Life at The Groffs Family Funeral Home, 528 W. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA, on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11 a.m. A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service. Interment will be at Conestoga Memorial Park.
