Jerry L Moyer, Sr.

Jerry L. Moyer, Sr., 79, of Greensburg, formerly of Vandergrift, died Monday, May 10, 2021. He was born February 19, 1942, in Vandergrift, son of the late Clyde and Glenna Martin Moyer. Jerry was a 1960 graduate of the former Vandergrift High School. He was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greensburg, and the BPOE of Norwin. Jerry was the owner of Laurel Hill Provision, Greensburg. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Gregory Moyer. He is survived by his wife, Vicki Shaeffer Moyer; three sons: Jeffrey (Laurie) Moyer, of Apollo, David Moyer, of New Stanton, and Jerry Moyer, Jr, of Greensburg; four daughters: Janelle (Rick) Shetron, of Vandergrift, Kathy (Jeff) Case, of Ligonier, Lisa (Andy) Klingensmith, of Jeannette, and Michelle Kovalik, of Greensburg; eleven grandchildren: Ashley, Tara, Rebecca, Kaylin, Jacob, Jeffrey, Jerry III, Alexis, Courtney, Jenna, and Izabella; a great-grandson, David; a sister, Toni (Delbert Waltenbaugh) Hamm, of Vandergrift; and a grand-dog, “Oscar”. Jerry will be remembered by family and friends as being a true gentleman.
