Jimmy Roger Williams, 89 years of age, peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023.
Jimmy was born on September 23, 1933, to the late Luther and Pearl Williams in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ann Williams, brother, LR Williams,sister Peggy Collins, his four children; Joey Williams, Debbie Slocum (Dennis), Lisa Page (Harold) and Ted Williams (Janice), twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, two brothers, and his grandson, Jason Deason.
Jimmy was a family man who loved to spend time with his grandchildren. Throughout his adult life he worked in the flooring and ceiling installation industry. He loved sports, with baseball holding a special place in his heart. Go Yankees!
The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00pm on Monday, January 23, 2022 at Golden Acres Baptist Church 15809 Lawyers Road Stallings, NC 28104. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00pm with Pastor Bruce Pope presiding. Jimmy will then be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill, NC.
