Joanne Attenberger

Joanne Attenberger, 87, of Pawtucket, R.I., formerly of Greensburg, passed peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, at Steere House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Providence, R.I. She was preceded by her parents, Charles and Myrtle Dillion, and devoted husband of 46 years, Raymond Attenberger. She is survived by her loving daughter, Pamela House; son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Lorranine Attenberger; adoring grandchildren, Natasha and April House, Katie and Craig Rutmayer, and Rachel Attenberger; and cherished greatgrandchildren, Derek House and Benjamin Rutmayer. Joanne also leaves behind her sister and dearest friend, Lougene Whiteman; and brother, Walter Dillon. Joanne was an active member of the Methodist church, an avid gardener, and loved baking with her granddaughters and great-granddaughter. Her pies and pumpkin rolls were legendary. Joanne enjoyed going to the Leon Mathieu Senior Center in Pawtucket, trips to the beach and traveling.
