Joanne Dick
November 14, 1943 – September 22, 2026 (Age 82)
Joanne Dick, age 82, of Rittenhouse Village, Allentown PA, formerly from Manor, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. She was born in Pittsburgh to the late William Howard and Helen (Miller) Christ. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Catherine Lutz (David) and son, James Dick; her grandchildren that she loved so much, Brianna Urato, Shane Urato, Samantha Johnson (Mike), Kayla Diaz (Tylor); great grandchildren who she adored, Jaxon, Alivia, Hailey Diaz, and Thomas James Diaz-Williamson. She was preceded in death by her husband James Dick of 61 years. They enjoyed camping, bowling, dancing and spending time with their family, leaving loved ones with wonderful memories to remember.
She was also preceded in death by her sister Judy Richardson (Bob), brother William Christ, sister Barbara Lehman (Bruce), and sister Debbie Reinnersmann (Rege). Joanne is survived by her sisters, Patricia Widmer (William), Carol Barr; brothers Paul Christ (Susan), Jeff Christ (Kim) and Brian Christ (Tammy); numerous nieces and nephews who she was very close to and many friends and neighbors.
Joanne was a member of Penn-Zion’s Lutheran Church in Harrison City for many years. She was a member of the LCW group and was a communion assistant. She enjoyed camping for many years at Lake Raystown Resort and Fox’s Den, her Silver Sneaker workouts at Anytime Fitness, spending time at the beach, taking walks and spending time with her dear family. She was always there to help anyone who needed her. She will be forever missed by so many.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the GENE H. CORL INC. FUNERAL CHAPEL AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike (412-372-2100). A service will take place at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Penn-Zion’s Lutheran Church (3417 PA Route 130, Harrison City). EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association or Pulmonary Fibrosis Association.
